Sarah McCloughry

Director of Anrah Development Ltd

Sarah helps women leaders, university research scientists and teams in science and engineering win agreement and buy-in by providing training on influencing skills in presentation and networking, negotiation, at board meetings and at interview. In partnership with Oxford University, she designs and leads programmes for science and engineering doctoral researchers with expert associates to win influence and stakeholder buy-in.

Sarah McCloughry is a graduate of Central School of Speech and Drama (having been top candidate in the UK to be awarded an exhibition for outstanding acting at Grade 8A). At Central School, she won a distinction in Verse Speaking and Voice Production. She went on to teach a variety of groups – secondary schools, youth clubs, adults and ex-prisoners. After 11 years, she retrained as a psychotherapist and ran a successful North Oxford consultancy for a further 28 years. To enhance her skills, she acquired coaching qualifications and worked with people at senior level both in industry and in not for profit organisations such as the Committee on Climate Change, Stockholm Environment Institute and Oxfam.

Nowadays she helps women leaders, university research scientists and teams in science and engineering win agreement and buy-in by providing training on influencing skills in presentation and networking, negotiation, at board meetings and at interview.

In partnership with Oxford University, she designs and leads programmes for science and engineering doctoral researchers with expert associates to win influence and stakeholder buy-in.

Chris Hoggarth

Chris works as an associate on our “Successful Presentations” programme with doctoral and post-doctoral researchers.

Former General Manager, Toshiba (Europe) and Vice President, Samsung Semiconductors (Europe). After his experience with Samsung mainly in Frankfurt (building a highly successful multi-national team) he led a Cambridge University start up company, attracting $25 million in 18 months. He now mentors and trains senior management in presentation skills and business development. 

Chris works as an associate on our “Successful Presentations” programme with doctoral and post-doctoral researchers.

Dr Graham Wilson

Dr Graham Wilson Graham delivers our “Successful Networking” programme with doctoral and post-doctoral researchers.

From Group HR Director for Sodexho UK Ltd responsible for 67,000 employees to numerous roles in HR, Directorships and General Manager of a leading firm of occupational psychologists, Graham is a practising coach and psychotherapist. He is an experienced at chairing conferences and symposia as a recognised expert in organisational development. He acts as confidant to CEOs from leading major plc companies and helps senior executives uncover and attain new roles through their networking skills.

Graham delivers our “Successful Networking” programme with doctoral and post-doctoral researchers.

Richard Goodier

Richard coaches, mentors and trains on our “How To Win Your Ideal Job” programme with doctoral post-doctoral researchers.

For 30 years as business owner, Richard has led a team of recruiters whose clients “make and move things” (engineering and logistics companies). He works very closely with the decision makers in these companies to identify and recruit exactly the right candidate for the senior team. He has extensive experience and brings much of it to bear from the other side of the recruitment fence.

Gill Kellard

Gill supplies personal style coaching for a number of our programmes and delivers training on our “Developing An Influential Personal Brand” for doctoral and post-doctoral researchers looking for roles in academia and business.

Gill has had extensive experience at senior level in the corporate world in resource demand management and recruitment. She is now interim Operations Director (currently at Penna) whilst running her personal branding and image consultancy for people in business.

Gill supplies personal style coaching for a number of our programmes and delivers training on our “Developing An Influential Personal Brand” for doctoral and post-doctoral researchers looking for roles in academia and business.

Maureen York

Maureen works as an associate on the “Learning, Research and Study Skills” programme for doctoral students.

Maureen has extensive experience of successfully bidding for and administering 5 CDT/DTC programmes and is Operational Projects Manager for the Department of Computing Science at Oxford University. She is an experienced trainer and coach with a history of working in Oxford University’s Engineering and Computing Science Departments on post-graduate programmes and coaches individual doctoral and post-doctoral researchers on helping them regain their focus.

Maureen works as an associate on the “Learning, Research and Study Skills” programme for doctoral students.
